One-Year Guarantee*
We guarantee our outdoor TREES, SHRUBS, and PERENNIALS for one year from the date of purchase with a receipt. Your original receipt is REQUIRED at the time of the return. Our system does not allow us to search customer purchases, so please keep a copy of your original receipt for all trees, shrubs, and perennials for up to one year. Only one exchange/credit will be issued per plant returned. Plants purchased with the credit issued are final and not guaranteed for an additional year. We also cannot guarantee that the same plant will be available at the time of your return. This guarantee is non-transferable with a change of home ownership.
*WE DO NOT offer a guarantee on HOUSEPLANTS, BONSAI, ANNUALS, HOLIDAY PLANTS, CHRISTMAS TREES, SOD, and GREEN STICKER ITEMS. All sales are final on these items, with no exceptions.

Thank you for your service! We are proud to offer a 10% discount to all currently serving or retired military members. Just present your valid military ID or veteran-marked state driver’s license to your cashier at the time of purchase. Excludes sale items, seed, sod, straw, gift cards, and services. We value our senior customers! Every Wednesday, we are happy to offer a 10% discount to anyone who is at least 62 years old. Just present your driver’s license or state ID to your cashier at the time of purchase. Excludes sale items, seed, sod, straw, gift cards, and services. Cannot be combined with other discounts.

We support our master gardeners! You’re serious about gardening, and we’re serious about supporting that passion. We are pleased to offer a 10% discount to anyone with a valid master gardener’s ID. 20% Professional Landscaper Discount
We offer a 20% discount to qualifying landscapers with a valid Tax ID. Excludes sale items, seed, sod, straw, gift cards, and services. All landscapers must APPLY IN PERSON at our store and have an account set up in our system. Approval will be determined by management before any discounts can be applied.
Plant Return Policy
Dead or Non-Resalable Trees, Shrubs & Perennials
You must bring in the plant you are returning AND the original receipt that is dated within one year of purchase. Dead or non-resalable trees, shrubs, and perennials can only be returned for store credit (for the purchase price paid on your receipt). Store credits are valid for one year from the date of issue. However, replacement plants purchased with this store credit are NOT eligible for an additional one year guarantee.
Living or Resaleable Trees, Shrubs & Perennials
You must bring in the plant you are returning AND the original receipt that is dated within one year of purchase. Plants that are in good condition and are potentially able to be sold again (still in the original container and in good health as determined by management) can be returned for the purchase price paid. Refunds will be issued as noted here:
Credit card purchases: Refunds will be returned to the same card.
Cash purchases: Refunds will be returned with cash.
Check purchases: Refunds will be returned with cash after 14 days / Store credit within 14 days.
Plants purchased with gift cards: Store credit will be issued.
Free Delivery With $1000 Plant Purchase
Delivery Services
We offer convenient delivery of your plants in our enclosed truck. We offer free delivery for plant purchases of $1000 or more (not including sod or straw). The delivery address must be within 10 miles of The Family Tree Garden Center. Addresses more than 10 miles are at the discretion of management and will be charged an extra per-mile fee.
For plant purchases less than $1000, we offer delivery for a fee of $75 within 10 miles of the store. Addresses more than 10 miles are at the discretion of management and will be charged an extra per-mile fee.All plants will be placed in a single area located just outside of the parked truck.

Plant Potting Services
We love getting our hands dirty, so we offer additional potting services when you purchase your plants and containers here. Buy your plants, buy a container, and give us 48-72 hours to complete the potting. The cost of this service is $1.50 per inch of width of the pot. (Example: 6″ wide pot = $9.00)

Special Order Requests
Looking for something special that you just can’t seem to find? Let us know and we’ll do our best to find it for you! Our buyers regularly check with suppliers for plants that our customers are searching for, and if they find them, they will contact you. Submit your special request and let us do the rest!

Landscape Design Services
We offer at-home design services to help you achieve your landscaping goals. Our landscape designer will come to your home, discuss your landscaping needs, and then provide you with a professionally drawn plan (two weeks after the appointment). We also offer consultations (no drawn plan).
